Volunteer Coordinator

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll help design, manage, and improve the systems that support volunteers before, during, and after events.

What You’ll Do

• Define volunteer roles, responsibilities, and expectations

• Create onboarding materials and clear instructions

• Manage volunteer recruitment, signups, and screening

• Coordinate schedules and communications

• Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator on:

  • Volunteer recruitment posts

  • Messaging and calls-to-action

• Help ensure volunteers feel prepared, supported, and respected

• Insight into how independent event brands grow sustainably

• A strong, resume-friendly title in the music/events space + a letter of recommendation

• VIP access to Neon Reverie events (ticket + meal + additional freebies & perks)

Neon Reverie is a grassroots EDM collective and event series based in Danbury, Connecticut, creating immersive rave experiences that center music, movement, art, and community. Known for hosting some of the best EDM parties in Danbury and Western Connecticut, Neon Reverie brings together DJs, flow artists, visual creators, and local partners to produce multi-room events inspired by the culture of underground raves and major EDM festivals. Our events welcome both lifelong ravers and the rave-curious, offering accessible alternatives to large-scale festivals and big-city nightlife while staying rooted in values of connection, care, and co-creation.
