Wanted: Strategic Partnerships Coordinator (Virtual Volunteer)

Updated: Jan 20

Help Find the Future Home of Neon Reverie, and more

Neon Reverie calls for a Strategic Partnerships Coordinator

Music is what brings us together, but experiences are what make people stay and keep coming back.

As Neon Reverie grows, one of our biggest needs is space—physical space that supports multi-room events, activations, and community-centered experiences.

Strategic Partnerships Coordinator

As a Strategic Partnerships Coordinator, your most important responsibility will be helping us identify and open conversations with potential long-term venues and aligned partners.

You’ll work directly with our Founder to research, evaluate, and approach venues and organizations that could support the future of Neon Reverie.

What You’ll Do

  • Research potential venues and sites based on Neon Reverie’s evolving needs (particularly in CT/NY)

  • Identify public-facing partners such as:

    • Venues and alternative spaces

    • Food & beverage partners

    • Merch and experiential collaborators

  • Open lines of communication and introduce partners to who we are and what we’re building

  • Track outreach and conversations in shared systems

  • Help shape messaging that explains EDM and rave culture to “non-ravers” in a friendly, accessible, non-condescending way

Who This Role Is Best Suited For

  • Someone with business-to-business experience

  • Someone who enjoys translating creative culture to broader audiences

  • Someone who wants more people to find and experience raving, not necessarily gatekeep

  • Someone who understands that resources are necessary to safely and effectively reach more people

If you feel protective of the culture and realistic about sustainability, we’re very aligned.

Why This Role Matters

Thoughtful partnerships allow us to grow sustainably without sacrificing integrity. This role helps balance creativity, logistics, and long-term vision.

What You’ll Gain

  • Exposure to experiential event planning, as well as partnership and sponsorship development

  • Exposure to venue negotiations and long-term planning and project management

  • Practice advocating for creative culture in professional settings

  • Insight into how independent event brands grow sustainably

  • A strong, resume-friendly title in the music/events space + a letter of recommendation

  • VIP access to Neon Reverie events (ticket + meal + additional freebies & perks)

Time Commitment

  • ~4 hours per week

  • Fully remote

  • 3–6 month commitment
